At Northern IL. Windows, our story is built on family, hard work, and a commitment to quality that spans more than three decades.
The company was founded in 1991 by William, who first had the idea while cleaning the storm triple-track windows on his own home—some of the toughest windows in the industry. After doing the job year after year, he realized that if he disliked the task that much, many other homeowners likely did too. With that thought, he began going door-to-door, building a loyal client base through hard work, reliability, and pride in every job.
Today, that legacy continues with his grandson Michael, who started cleaning windows at just 10 years old. Growing up working summers on routes alongside his grandfather’s crews, Michael developed the same respect for craftsmanship and customer service that built the company. Together, their shared dedication has helped grow Northern IL. Windows into a trusted name capable of servicing larger properties and more clients—while still holding true to the quality, professionalism, and reputation that started it all.
